Spend a day on the water enjoying fine fishing, gorgeous scenery, lots of fly-fishing, a hearty lunch and all the beauty of a 15 to 20 mile mountain float fishing trip. We’ll meet and greet you at Sandstone at 8:30 am.The New River is a unique body of water, offering incredible fishing stretches that hold Trophy Black Bass . A float-fishing trip with one of our professional guides affords you access to public and private waters that are only accessible by boat.
Half Day Float Trip (small mouth bass) 1 person - $150.00 | 2 people $250.00
Half-day float trips (3 to 4 hours) are available from mid-April thru mid-September. For the morning float we’ll meet and greet you at Sandstone at 8:30 am. Afternoon departures vary seasonally. These half-day trips offer a great opportunity to float fish in some very productive water. This is a great trip for the beginner that wants to try a float fishing trip or the expert who wants a productive morning or afternoon float.
Evening Float Trip (small mouth bass) 1 person - $100.00 | 2 people $150.00
Some of the best fishing, best scenery and most peaceful time usually occur as the day comes to a close. We'll meet and greet you at Sandstone at 4:00pm and float trips last approximately 2 to 3 hours. Available June through August, depending on water levels.
Wade/Float Combo (small mouth bass) 1 person - $225.00 | 2 people $375.00
Get the best of both worlds. Spend half a day walking and wading, a hearty lunch, followed by a half day float Trip. Meet at Anglers Junction at 8:30 am.
Walk and Wade Half Day (trout) 1 person - $150.00 | 2 people $250.00
Half-day walk & wade trips are perfect for the novice that wants to learn about fly-fishing. A professional guide will be with you to help you learn the basics of fly-fishing, knots, entomology, and how to read the river. Experienced anglers that prefer wading will be able to fish private water and public water and tap into the guide's knowledge of West Virginia rivers. Morning trips meet at Canaan Valley at 8:30 am and afternoon trips meet at 1:00 pm.

Spend the morning with one of our instructors. You will learn gear selection, casting techniques, knots, entomology and how to "read a river". After 3 hours of instruction and a hearty lunch hit the riverwith a guide for a half day walk and wade. All rentals, flies and equipment included with this package only,
INTRODUCTION TO FLY FISHING (trout) Rate (per person per day) $75.00
A three hour class will teach you everything you need to know about fly fishing. You will learn gear selection, casting techniques, knots, entomology and how to identify fish habitat.
